Anthony M. Alesandro is an associate at Leeds Brown Law and is a graduate of SUNY Albany (B.A.) and Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University (J.D.). Mr. Alesandro has served as part of the Leeds Brown Law complex litigation team since 2018. Mr. Alesandro has been recognized for his work in class actions, including recently in an action resolving claims for students at Lincoln University. See Dixon v. Additionally, Mr. Alesandro has served as lead or co-lead counsel in several actions that have recently resolved themselves on a class basis, including Nouri v. University of Scranton, Case No. 3:23-cv-01362-KM (M.D. Pa. Jan. 22, 2025); Leonard v. La Salle University, Case No. 2:24-cv-00062-JS(E.D. Pa. Jan. 13, 2025); Cantave v. Saint Joseph’s University, Case No. 2:23-cv-03181 (E.D. Pa, Nov. 19 2024); Alunni v. Lebanon Valley College, Case No. 1:23-cv-01424 (M.D. Pa, Oct. 28, 2024); and Camden v. Bucknell University, Case No. 4:23-cv-01907-MWB (M.D. Pa, Feb. 2, 2025)(Dkt. 33)(granting preliminary approval of class action settlement).
Mr. Alesandro has worked on the LBL Tuition Refund team since March 2020, during which time, LBL has had success in litigating and settling cases on behalf of students around the country. Further, Mr. Alesandro has worked on the LBL Tuition Refund team since March 2020, during which time LBL has had success in litigating and settling cases on behalf of college students across the country who paid for tuition for in person classes during the COVID-19 Pandemic. During Mr. Alesandro’s tenure at LBL, he has worked on several class actions that have been resolved in recent years including, Kellogg v. WSP USA, Inc., Index No. 605552/2024 (Sup. Ct. Nassau Cty. Aug. 1, 2024); Contreras v. Dania Marina, Inc., Index No. 54536/2018 (Sup. Ct. Westchester Cty., Oct. 3, 2019)(“Thank you for all your efforts on both sides here. I think everybody was vigorously represented in this action. And I commend counsel for their work as well”); Settecasi v. Ark Restaurants Corp, et. al., Index No. 154038/2018 (Sup. Ct. N.Y. Cty., Oct. 3, 2018); Cedeno et al v. Hibernia Construction, Inc. et al, Index No. 605947/2017 (Sup. Ct. Nassau Cty. Mar. 12, 2021); among others.
