WHITE PLAINS, NY – On Sept. 15, 2021, Hon. Sam D. Walker, J.S.C. rejected Defendants’ attempts to decertify the class of service workers at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel for alleged stolen tips and services charges dating back to 2010. The Court is allowing the class action to proceed as the service and banquet workers attempt to collect millions in unpaid gratuities in violation of New York Labor Law and the Hospitality Wage Order. The Court then issued an order to supplement notice to such workers.
